YMCA

Kennewick School District partners with the YMCA of the Greater Tri-Cities to offer the School-Age Child Care (before & after school) program to students in grades K-5. The YMCA offers a variety of program options in order to accommodate different family schedules, including AM, PM,  part-time and full-time.
 
YMCA child care sites are  licensed by the State of Washington and accepts state subsidy (DSHS) payments and financial assistance is available to the extent possible.

Shuttle Locations

If your child’s school does not have AM/PM Child Care, there is the option of having your child shuttled to and from their school to their assigned child care site

Hawthorne Shuttle: Edison
Southgate Shuttle: Lincoln Elementary
Sunset View Shuttle : Vista Elementary
Washington Shuttle: Amistad, Cascade and Eastgate
 
No shuttles are available for Westgate students at this time.
